My First Floatation Experience 小悦体验
Last week I had my first floatation experience in Floatasian.
Maybe it’s because the owners are from Sweden, even the place is not spacious but delicately decorated in Nordic style full of purity and serenity.
上周末小悦到漂浮岛进行了人生中第一次漂浮体验。
或许因为是瑞典兄弟开的漂浮馆，这里地方不大，但摆设十分精致。一尘不染的北欧风格，让人觉得干净、宁静。

You need to put on slippers before you get into the room. That may be one of the reasons why this place is super clean. You can sit on the couch and go through the knowledge of floatation with a brochure first or watch a short film taken by one of the Swedish brothers, which is pretty helpful for your first floatation experience.
进门就要换上拖鞋，这也是店内环境非常干净的一个原因吧。可以拿一张小册子先简单了解漂浮岛，来到室内在沙发上坐下，可以看到帅气的瑞典哥哥录制的视频，对于第一次漂浮的人很有帮助。

There is a full set of Aesop products neatly placed in the room. It is very sweet that they even provide you contact lens care solution and disposable contact lens cases.
进入洗漱的区域，全套的Aesop产品整齐摆放，一应俱全。甚至有隐形眼镜清洗液和一次性隐形眼镜眼镜盒，可以说是极致贴心了~
You need to clean your whole body before floatation. Don't worry if you are wearing makeup, because there are also cleansing oil, cotton pads and cleanser in the washroom——as well as a automatic intellegent toilet (which is not cool if compared to the float tank we will see later).
漂浮前需要全身洗净，但带妆来的仙女也不必担心，洗手间内也配备了卸妆油、化妆棉和洁面产品——还有智能感应翻盖的马桶（但这和后面要见到的太空舱比就没什么了）。
There are three float tanks and the newest one is themed universal with deep and cool visual effect. It is the perfect place for contemplating the Ultimate Questions. This is the one I floated in.
目前漂浮岛有三个漂浮太空舱，最新的房间是宇宙主题的，视觉上就非常深邃酷炫~ 在这里漂浮思考终极问题在合适不过。小悦体验的就是这个漂浮舱。

You can choose if you want music during the floatation before starting. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are all Aesop. After a full shower you need to put on earplugs and if your body has small wounds you can use some Vaseline on them. Then open the float tank and be ready to your first floating experience!
漂浮前可选择是否需要在漂浮过程中播放音乐。洗浴产品用的也是Aesop，有洗发露、护发素和沐浴乳。充分淋浴过后戴上耳塞；如果身上有细小的伤口涂上凡士林。然后就可以打开漂浮舱，准备迎接第一次漂浮体验啦！

The door will automatically leaving a gap. The light inside can be turn off if you press the button on the inner wall of the tank.
The principle of floatation is to simulate the vacuum environment by adding a large amount of Epsom Salt in the water. Epsom Salt does good to human body. Generally naked floatation is recommended, but you can also bring your own swimsuit.
舱门会自动关上，留有一条缝隙；舱内的灯光也可以选择按舱内按钮关闭。
漂浮的原理是在水中加入大量泻盐，以模拟真空的效果；泻盐水对人体有不少好处。一般推荐裸体漂浮，也可以自带泳衣。

I floated for nearly one hour. Most people can not fully enjoy their first floatation but will have brand new feelings after they try it many times. My main feeling after floatation was... as a phubber, my neck and shoulder were sooo sore!
在这宁静的真空氛围中我漂浮了近一小时。大多数人其实不能完全享受首次漂浮体验，在多次漂浮后往往会有焕然一新的感受！小悦最大的感受就是……平时低头族如我，肩颈真的酸得要命！

After the floatation they also provide you some healthy and refreshing leaf-like snacks and energy drinks with special taste. This is a very different experience and I'm looking forward to my second try!

Floatation Therapy (also known as Sensory Deprivation Therapy) means reaching a state of absolute tranquility by floating. When floating, the body, salt water, and air inside the tank all rest at 35C, and this equilibrium creates a relaxing feeling of weightlessness. The result is a feeling of deep relaxation.

What is Epsom Salt? 什么是泻盐？
Epsom Salt, magnesium sulfate heptahydrate (molecular formula MgSO4 · 7H2O),

We use approximately 450 kg of Epsom salt in each of our Float tank. Our waters density is similar to the Dead Sea’s, making it possible to float effortlessly.
在每台漂浮舱内，我们都使用了约400公斤的泻盐。因此舱内的盐水浓度与死海浓度相近，使人体能毫不费力地在水面上自由漂浮。
After floatation you can also have a refreshing cup of capsule offee. 漂浮过后还可以来一杯胶囊咖啡提神。
Apart from the benefits mentioned, Epsom salt also contains Magnesium and Sulfate MgSO4; during stress, Magnesium is one of the first substances that decreases in the body. Magnesium can be found in food and supplements but are not easily absorbed through the stomach but new research shows that it is easily absorbed through the skin; so when floating, you’re also reloading your body’s Magnesium levels.

Floating is safe and suitable for almost everyone. If you have any concerns about your suitability to float, we suggest that you consult with your physician prior. We want to ensure every guest´s safety and for you to fully enjoy your float session.

You are under the influence of alcohol or any other drugs
You have just gotten a new tattoo or piercing (We recommend at least 4 weeks of healing)
You are in your first trimester of pregnancy
You have an infectious disease, large cuts or open wounds.
You suffer from epilepsy that is not medically controlled or supervised
You recently colored your hair. This will ensure that the tank will not discolor your hair, and your hair dye won´t be transferred to our tanks. (We recommend at least 2 weeks for the color to set)
You have extremely low blood pressure
You have recently received chemotherapy (We recommend at least 2 months of recovery)

We follow the Sweden Float Tank Health Standard. A floatation tank is far cleaner than a swimming pool or a normal bathtub. The extremely high salinity (about 35%) provides a sterile environment where no microorganisms can reproduce. The water is also cleaned thoroughly between each session. Our tanks clean the water using a mechanical filtration system and UV light between each session. In addition to that, Peroxide is also used as a further step in the sterilization process.
我们采用了瑞典漂浮舱卫生标准。漂浮舱远远要比泳池或普通浴缸干净得多。极高的盐度（约35%）也提供了一个微生物无法繁殖的无菌环境。在两次漂浮之间，舱内的水都会被彻底清洁。我们的漂浮舱采用了机械过滤系统和紫外线来净水。除此之外，在灭菌过程中，我们还进一步使用了双氧水。
